Tailored notions 4 Life Behavioral & Mental Health Coaching
helping women navigate anger, trauma, and grief through a clear guided, and faith-rooted path to healing

About Us
Tailored Notions 4 Life was created from a place of purpose — to meet women in real places, with real experiences, and walk alongside them as they begin the journey toward healing. Too often, women carry anger, trauma, and grief in silence — holding together what feels broken beneath the surface. This space was created to change that. Here, you will find a safe, supportive, and confidential environment where you are free to share, process, and begin again — without judgment.
Healing is not rushed here. It is intentional. It is layered. And it happens one thread at a time

Your Peronsal Life Tailor

The name Tailored Notions is deeply personal.
Before stepping into this work, I was a professional tailor, carefully altering garments to fit each individual. Over time, I realized that what I was doing with fabric mirrored something much deeper. Lives, too, require careful, intentional adjustments. After 27 years in corporate America and experiencing unexpected layoffs, my path shifted into nonprofit work, serving women and families facing crisis, homelessness, and life-altering transitions. It was there that I saw clearly: Anger, trauma, and grief are not surface issues - they are deeply rooted experiences that shape how we live, respond, and see ourselves. And in that moment, the vision became clear: Healing, like tailoring, must be intentional, personal, and transformative.
To serve women well, I committed to both calling and preparation. I hold:
-
Doctor of Philosophy in Urban Ministry
-
Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling
-
Board-Certified Master Mental Health Coach (AACC)
-
Certified Anger Management Specialist II (NAMA)
This work allows me to integrate faith-based insight with practical, evidence-informed tools to support real, lasting healing. I believe healing is not one-size-fits-all. Just as a garment is tailored to fit the individual, healing must be approached with care, compassion, and intention. Through addressing anger, trauma, and grief, we begin to mend what has been broken-restoring strength, clarity, and wholeness. As your Personal Life Tailor, I walk alongside you through the healing process — helping you restore what’s been frayed, strengthen what’s been worn, and rediscover a life that fits you with authenticity and purpose.
Because healing doesn’t happen all at once. It happens one thread at a time.

Your Personal Life Tailor
_edited.jpg)
After more than 27 years in Corporate America, the founder of Tailored Notions 4 Life, LLC made a life-changing shift to the nonprofit world, working with homeless women and children. As an education coordinator, she focused on topics like trauma, grief, and anger, recognizing the deeply personal nature of healing.
Her journey began much earlier, with a passion for sewing that led to a career in fashion and tailoring—an experience that later inspired her approach to mental and emotional well-being: that, like clothing, healing requires a custom fit.
In 2023, a confrontation with her own unresolved trauma sparked a renewed sense of purpose. By 2024, Tailored Notions 4 Life was launched to offer a safe, supportive space for individuals facing emotional challenges, rooted in empathy, experience, and a belief in personalized healing.
